DLF Sets ₹20,000 Crore Sales Target for FY27 Amid Luxury Housing Demand

DLF Sets ₹20,000 Crore Sales Target for FY27 Amid Luxury Housing Demand

New Delhi: The goal for DLF Ltd is to generate sales bookings of ₹20,000 crore during the fiscal year of 2026-27. The realty company intends to generate this target through the use of demand for luxury homes, launching of residential projects, and commercial rentals.

The company recorded property sales worth ₹4,457 crore in the first half of FY27. However, sales bookings fell during the July–September quarter. DLF reported bookings of ₹3,800 crore, compared with ₹4,332 crore in the same quarter last year.

Luxury Housing Remains a Key Growth Driver

DLF continues to focus on premium and luxury residential properties. Its upcoming projects in Gurugram, Mumbai, and Goa could help the company increase sales during the remaining months of FY27.

The developer also expects revenue growth as it completes residential projects launched after the COVID-19 pandemic. Income from the housing projects is recorded by DLF once completed. Therefore, timely construction and delivery will play an important role in its financial performance.

Profit Rises Despite Lower Quarterly Sales

DLF reported a 10% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for the September quarter. Profit reached ₹1,301.35 crore, compared with ₹1,180.09 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The company’s total income also increased to ₹2,297.30 crore from ₹2,261.80 crore. Higher other income supported this growth.

However, limited availability of new residential properties affected quarterly sales bookings. The company will need stronger sales in the coming quarters to meet its annual target.

Senior Living Project Records Full Sales

DLF’s senior living project in Gurugram recorded strong customer interest. The company sold all 172 homes for a total value of ₹1,985 crore.

Its ultra-luxury residential project, The Dahlias, also continued to attract buyers. These developments highlight the company’s focus on premium housing and specialised residential segments.

Strong Cash Position Supports Expansion

DLF reported operating cash flow of ₹1,858 crore during the September quarter. Its net cash position stood at ₹15,084 crore, even after a dividend payment of ₹1,980 crore.

For the first half of FY27, consolidated net profit rose to ₹2,095.25 crore from ₹1,942.76 crore a year earlier. However, total income declined to ₹3,902.86 crore from ₹5,242.68 crore.

The company also benefits from its commercial property portfolio. Its office and retail assets cover approximately 50 million square feet. Rental income provides an additional source of earnings alongside residential sales.

New Launches Will Be Crucial for FY27

More than 185 real estate developments have been carried out by DLF, which amounts to over 352 million square feet. Besides this, the company is capable of developing 275 million square feet in both residential and commercial areas.

Achieving the target of sales worth ₹20,000 crores will be contingent on new launches, progress on ongoing projects, and demand for homes. Growth in commercial rentals may also help improve overall performance.

The next growth step of DLF would be determined by how successful the company is at turning its project pipeline into sales.
