DLF Expands Its Gurugram Land Portfolio with a 7.48-Acre Deal

GURUGRAM: DLF has entered into a collaboration for an additional 7.48-acre land parcel in Sector 61, Gurugram. The new agreement will strengthen its presence along Golf Course Extension Road.

The parcel sits next to DLF’s existing landholding of approximately 28.5 acres. Together, these properties will create a contiguous site spanning around 36 acres.

Transaction Expected to Close by March 2027

DLF Managing Director Ashok Kumar Tyagi shared details of the agreement during the company’s Q2 FY27 earnings call. He said the company had made an initial payment towards the additional land parcel.

DLF expects to complete the transaction by the fourth quarter of FY27. However, the company has not disclosed the total cost of the new parcel.

The earlier land transaction involved approximately 28.5 acres acquired through a bond-related arrangement with lenders. DLF has already received 19.5 acres. It also cleared the outstanding encumbrances on another 7.06-acre portion during the September quarter.

Gurugram Remains a Key Residential Market

The expanded landholding gives DLF a larger development opportunity in Sector 61. Several established and emerging developers also operate along Golf Course Extension Road.

The area has attracted real estate companies seeking to strengthen their presence in Gurugram’s residential market. DLF’s earlier project, The Arbour, recorded strong buyer interest and generated sales worth approximately ₹8,000 crore.

However, DLF has not announced a launch date, project name, or pricing details for the proposed development on the expanded site.

DLF Prepares for Upcoming Residential Launches

Beyond Gurugram, DLF is preparing to launch a residential project in Mumbai during Q3 FY27, subject to regulatory approvals. The company also plans a luxury-plus residential project in DLF Phase IV, Gurugram, during Q4 FY27.

These plans reflect the developer’s continued focus on premium housing opportunities across key markets.

The next steps for the Sector 61 parcel will depend on the completion of the transaction and the company’s development plans. Further details about the project will emerge once DLF announces its plans.
